Friedman Benda asked for Timbur to produce a solid Walnut wall hanging shelving unit for the Chilean artist group gt2P (Great Things to People). This involved solid wood lamination and complex deep machining with excruciating attention to fit, finish and detail. For this piece a hybrid machining and assembly strategy was used to build the thickness of the piece as it was being machined with our 7-axis industrial robot.
