RUR Architecture DPC, an internationally recognized architecture firm, asked Timbur to create a set of high-end custom doors for a Park Avenue residence. Through prototyping and our working partnership with the architect, we developed a machining strategy that achieved this exquisite pattern with a minimal amount of sanding and finishing.

Materials & Technique

1.75” thick laminated poplar doors 3-axis CNC machined with a complex voronoi pattern using a custom tooling and toolpath strategy.
