In collaboration with Brooklyn based woodworker Paul Poggi, Timbur was tasked with machining 4 large solid White Oak benches for internationally acclaimed architecture firm B.I.G (Bjarke Ingels Group). Size and weight of these pieces was indeed very “BIG”. The large and flexible envelope of our 7-axis industrial robot allowed us to develop a custom machining strategy for these unconventional sized pieces.
