Timbur was contracted to create a custom cork wall paneling system for the “shoe customization lab” in Nike’s new NYC flagship store: “House of Innovation 000”. Under an incredibly tight deadline, we went to work on design development, prototyping, sampling, site surveying, shop drawings, material sourcing and production- all in a two week period. We managed a consistent on-site presence with the client to understand and meet both their needs and their timeline. Timbur worked around the clock to deliver a product to spec, on time and on-budget. We just did it.

Materials & Technique

½” cork laminated to 3⁄4” birch plywood with a custom machined pattern and a 2K polyurethane white finish. Panels were cleated and custom sized for efficient installation.
