Allbirds, Partners and Spade

NYC branding firm Partners and Spade asked Timbur to help develop and produce a custom stack laminated plywood chair for the emerging footwear behemoth Allbirds’ new retail stores. As a way to differentiate stores, each city is branded with a color that is applied to the chairs as a tinted transparent finish. We developed a scalable lean manufacturing technique to produce these chairs in high volume with limited waste and on demand. Timbur has supplied chairs for New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago and Seattle.
